Honestly no complaint. Brilliant, traditional property. Outstanding food choice at the English breakfast. Very comfy beds, tastefully decorated rooms and fairly clean bath. Magnificent and stunning location, very close to centre. Based just off the city walls, first thing in the morning, and local takeaways.

Everything great.

The room had a solid assortment of coffee, tea, biscuits, and bottles of water. A comfortable bed and well-cooked breakfast options showcased the hotel's effort to provide a satisfying stay.
The room was cramped and the single-pane sash windows didn't block street noise. The bathroom was dated, lacking basic features like a soap ledge, and the decor felt stuck in time. The mattress was too soft for a good night's rest, leading to some uncomfortable rolling toward the center.

Perfect location and cozy vibes
We stayed for a night and the location couldn't be better-just a quick stroll to the attractions! The staff were super friendly and even let us park for free before we checked in. Our room was comfy and quiet despite being on the main road. Just a heads up, the breakfast hours were a bit late for early risers.

The location was a highlight, just a short walk from main attractions, and the friendly atmosphere added to the experience. Breakfast offered a generous selection, with an emphasis on quality. The room's decor felt outdated, and the noise from the street made sleep difficult due to single-pane sash windows. The room showed signs of wear, with creaky floorboards and a stained carpet, impacting overall value for money.

Quirky decor reflects local culture. The pub below offers a cozy atmosphere with a roaring fire and a great selection of drinks, especially enjoyable during winter months.
The room lacked soundproofing, allowing noise from the street and pub to disrupt sleep. Single-pane windows didn't help. The heating system was quite noisy. The bathroom felt dated with minor amenities missing, and some furniture showed signs of wear. Breakfast had a tight time window of 8:30-9:00 AM, which may not suit those with early plans.

The staff were super helpful. The room was cozy with a shower, electric kettle, and tv. Breakfast was freshly made with great options, served right to the table. The pub vibe was lively, and the beer garden looked like a nice spot in summer. Really clean everywhere too.

The Exhibition Bed & Breakfast in York had a unique charm that immediately caught my attention. The quirky decor throughout the place. The location can't be beaten. Just a short walk from the city center, perfect for exploring. The staff were cute. The breakfast options were delicious, especially the fresh pastries and varied juices. I appreciated the lovely beer garden. I found the room temperature a bit uncomfortable, made sleeping difficult. The building itself is lovely, but I could hear some floorboards creaking at night. A pleasant experience despite the minor inconveniences.
